3-Day Amboseli Elephants & Kilimanjaro Views
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Swamps fed by the mountain’s snowmelt draw elephants, buffalo, hippo and hundreds of bird species, while lion and cheetah hunt on the open plains.
Your itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli, afternoon game drive
Morning drive from Nairobi to Amboseli (about 4–5 hours). Check in for lunch, then enjoy your first game drive as the afternoon light settles over Kilimanjaro.

- Day 2
Full day in Amboseli
Early morning game drive, the best time to see Kilimanjaro free of cloud. Visit Observation Hill for views over the swamps, and spend the afternoon with the elephant families. Optional visit to a Maasai village.
Stay: Amboseli Sopa Lodge (or similar) Meals: Full board
- Day 3
Morning game drive and return to Nairobi
A final sunrise game drive, breakfast at the lodge, then drive back to Nairobi.
