2-Day Hell’s Gate & Lake Naivasha Adventure
One of the few parks in Kenya you can explore by bike or on foot. Ride past grazing zebra and giraffe beneath Fischer’s Tower, walk through the dramatic Ol Njorowa gorge, then unwind with a boat ride on Lake Naivasha among hippos and fish eagles.
Your itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Naivasha, boat ride and Crescent Island walk
Drive from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha (about 2 hours). After lunch, take a boat out to see hippos and birdlife, then land on Crescent Island for a guided walk among giraffe, zebra and wildebeest.
Stay: Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort (or similar) Meals: Lunch & dinner
- Day 2
Cycling and gorge hike in Hell’s Gate, return to Nairobi
Enter Hell’s Gate National Park by bicycle (or vehicle), passing Fischer’s Tower and the steaming geothermal vents. Hike down into the gorge with a local guide, then drive back to Nairobi.
